This luxurious and serene master bathroom was designed for a globetrotting retired couple as a restful retreat when they return from travel adventures. The existing bathroom was small, dark and outdated. Space was borrowed from two existing bedrooms and a bonus room to create an unusually spacious master bathroom. The clients desired a space evocative of a five-star hotel suite. The new design is wrapped in porcelain tile with the sumptuous look of marble. Subtle variations on gray in the cabinetry, tile, and walls convey a soothing mood.Whether relaxing in the distinctive free-standing tub or reinvigorating in the large shower, this master bathroom welcomes lingering enjoyment of its elegant surroundings.
